After listening to an HBR IdeaCast Podcast early last week about how ChatGPT should be explored in the workplace I was fascinated by what this might mean for people. According to the MIT Technology Review “generative AI models hold the promise of automating all sorts of tasks that were previously thought to be solely in the realm of human creativity and reasoning, from writing to creating graphics to summarizing and analyzing data.” Does this mean people have opportunities to use powerful tools to be more productive or will we use this tool to bypass people?
