Asking Better Questions

It’s been a goal of mine to ask better questions, I think it’s fulfilling to learn about the lives and experiences of the people around me. According to the Harvard Business Review “the first step in becoming a better questioner is simply to ask more questions.

Of course, the sheer number of questions is not the only factor that influences the quality of a conversation: The type, tone, sequence, and framing also matter.”

So how do we ask better questions? We can try the following: Favor follow-up questions, know when to keep questions open-ended, or understanding group dynamics.
