Fat Bear Week

Today marks the culmination of one of my favorite niche interest weeks. It’s the end of FAT BEAR WEEK! If you can’t tell I am incredibly excited that this event has gathered so much attention this year and that now, partly because of Tic Tok, more people know about this cool event. The annual tournament is meant to celebrate the bears’ “success in preparation for winter hibernation” in the challenging Katmai ecosystem.
