As we become more intentional about the decisions we make when it comes to sustainability, equity, and social change, there are often momentary roadblocks that can become insurmountable. Making wide scale societal change happen can seem like a monumental task that defeats the best of intentions. It seems this is often a barrier to making change, understanding how our individual behavior can make a difference to the big picture.

This is the case for all social change movements, so it seems that the psychology of how social movements form and change behavior can surely apply to our everyday consumer micro-behaviors in our daily lives.
