Latinx Fresno Graduation

Curated by Meg Birmingham

We do some pretty cool work out in Fresno and the young people there do some amazingly cool works of their own. This month Fresno held its first Latinx graduation ceremony, an event advocated for and organized by local high school students. Some of their goals were to highlight higher education amongst Latinx/Chicanx families and to present the ceremony primarily in Spanish so that families can be more engaged in their child’s milestone. You can check out their Instagram or the Know Youth Media article for more of the details. Way to go Fresno!
