DJ Anthony Does It Again

Curated by Meg Birmingham

If you’ve been part of a YDN camp, or really been around Sacramento, for the last decade, you’ve met DJ Anthony Vincent. When we think about intentionally creating the change we want to see in our communities, Anthony is a great example of how to do that!

Anthony’s project Vibe & Thrive was recently featured in the Hidden Vine publication for Temecula, CA; “Anthony calls the concept ‘a community event disguised as a party.’ Revenue flows to small businesses instead of distant downtown clubs. Local residents explore coffee shops they never knew existed. Young DJs collect set times without battling late-night curfews. The hope is that city leaders who may be wary of amplified music will take notice of the positive economic ripple.”
