Sacramento Music Program That Gives Youth Safe Outlet for Expression

In August 2023, members of the Department of Sound participated in a 4-Day Youth Development Institute aimed at cultivating engaging and supportive environments for youth growth.

We’ve just received news that their team has secured a studio residency for their youth music program at Shattered Records. This exciting development opens up more opportunities for Sacramento’s youth to experience a professional studio atmosphere and produce music content.
