Putting CA in Front with LGBTQ+ legislation

Keeping in theme with LGBTQ+ Politics I would be completely remiss if I didn’t draw attention to the work that young people are doing in Sacramento. Severiano “Seve” Christian has become of the most consequential but least known LGBTQ+ policy minds in the country at 25 years old. Just to mention part of Christian’s work, they have helped bridge the divide between the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and LGBTQ+ advocates on model policy for the treatment of incarcerated people; they have delved into the nuances of best practices of intersex health care. I am incredibly excited that we have young people like Christian working towards bettering our community, state, and national approach to serving LGBTQ+ individuals.
